The third release in the Steampunk Angels and Demons series of silver rounds has arrived from the Osborne Mint! Following angels Theodosia the Femme Fatale and Louvenia the Explorer, we introduce Delphine the Aristocrat. And following demons Cornelius the Fighter and Thaddeus the Aviator, we introduce Gregorio the Dandy.
Once complete, the series will include 6 angels and 6 demons, for a total of 12 designs. Each design in the series is featured on a 1 oz .999 fine silver round, in both proof and vintage versions. Designed by sisters Ana and Mercedes Hidalgo of Studio Kawaii, the obverse of each round in the series features an angel or demon decked out in a steampunk-themed outfit and setting. Let’s take a look at the latest two designs to be released.
Delphine is the third angel in the series, pictured here in a classic, yet sultry Victorian dress and corset. She makes no effort to hide her curvy figure or her large, feathered wings as she strolls around town. She carries a parasol and paper fan to complete her look, as she strikes a pose in front of a detailed cityscape.
Gregorio, the third demon in the series, is seen on the run. He clings tightly to a bag of valuables he has stolen, as he leaps and bounds across the rooftops to escape the dirigibles that were dispatched to catch him. His billowing cape and sturdy horns help provide the signature look of this thief.
The shared reverse of the series features the “Angels and Demons” logo within a border of gears and hardware, which are iconic in the steampunk theme. You’ll also find the Osborne Mint mintmark and the round’s weight and purity.
If you’ve been collecting each design in the Angels and Demons series, you won’t want to miss these exciting new silver rounds!

Why aren’t there 5oz vintage rounds being offered for the rest of the series? The first set, Theodosia and Cornelius, had 5oz vintage rounds with a supposed mintage of only 750. I purchased those and was planning on purchasing the rest of the series in the same fashion. Please let me know, thanks.

Please disregard this post, I see my question was already answered in a different blog. Thanks

Hi Dave,
While the mint does produce 5 oz rounds in this series, Provident decided to only offer the 1 oz rounds. Sorry for any inconvenience.
