Provident Metals is excited to announce a new series: the Egyptian Gods. History meets myth with this series featuring iconic Egyptian figures, showcasing the fascinating mythology of one of the world’s oldest civilizations.
Egyptian mythology has long been a fan favorite of collectors. This pious and superstitious culture was the inspiration for mesmerizing art, paying homage to the gods and goddesses who the people lived to please.
To create the ultra high relief designs, Provident Metals employed the help of the renowned artist, Heidi Wastweet. Heidi has long been regarded as an authority in the high relief coin sculpting, and her contribution to the Egyptian Gods series illustrates her artistic prowess.
Take a look at our current Egyptian Gods products, and sign up for alerts for more that are Coming Soon.
Now, here is the moment you have been waiting for…the second design in the series is…
The Anubis 2 oz Ultra High Relief Silver Round. Anubis, the god of the underworld, was said to be half man and half jackal- an animal associated with death. His appearance on the 2 oz round is stunning and lifelike. Anubis played an integral role in determining the fate of deceased Egyptians, and on his round, the ruler appears strong and just.
We are currently offering the Anubis 2 oz Ultra High Relief Silver Round, and will offer limited mintage Anubis and Cleopatra products in the near future.
Add beauty to your investment portfolio with the Egyptian Gods collection, exclusively from Provident Metals.

ProvidentMetals.com says
We do plan on continuing! 🙂
Clive says
It’s almost a year since you confirmed that the series will be continued – any news as to when the next in this great series will be available?
Jas says
They look great!
How can I be kept up to date with the series? Do you know how many there will be for the whole series?
Thanks
ProvidentMetals.com says
Please watch our video, attached to the newest blog post announcing Sobek. Jake and Joe talk about our anticipated release schedule for this series.
Jasdip Sagu says
Thank!
I have both the Cleopatra and Anubis high relief silver -Cleopatra is shiny, and Anubis is a Matte finished? Why is this?
Are the antiqued version in same finish for both of these?
ProvidentMetals.com says
So glad you enjoy this series. The varying finishes is simply due to how the rounds were designed. The Sobek round will have a similar finish to that of Anubis.
Jasdip Sagu says
I am now hoping that the finish on the rest of the series will be varied as will look odd if there is 1 which sticks out like a sore thumb…i.e. Cleopatra..
Clive says
When is the next Egyptian series round coming out???
The series so far is absolutely brilliant – seems crazy to have produced so few designs when it is clearly a winner!
More please and soon!
ProvidentMetals.com says
Hi Clive,
The next design in the series is currently in the works! Stay tuned for more details soon.
Clive says
Great news – I’ll stay tuned. Tx
Al says
It’s now been 2 years since the last comment was left by you concerning the release date of the next coin in the Egyptian God series. Any idea when it’s going to happen yet? Did I miss it? To date, the only ones I’ve seen are Cleopatra and Anubis…
ProvidentMetals.com says
Hi Al,
You haven’t missed an announcement. We don’t have any immediate plans for the continuation of this series. However, we have recently announced our Four Horsemen series and our Celtic Lore series.

That’s crazy. Of course it should be continued. Bring on some new designs!
Richard Herron says
Has this series been discontinued? If not, when is the next coin scheduled for release?
Thanks
ProvidentMetals.com says
Cleopatra has been discontinued, but Anubis is still available. And both are available in graded slabs.

ProvidentMetals.com says
Great suggestion, thanks!
Marcos says
You have one talented artist. Horus and a huge scarab also known as khonsu on the backside of the coin. Khonsu and horus would also be nice.
ProvidentMetals.com says
She is quite talented! And, thank you for the suggestion!
Ang says
Hi, will you send to Malaysia?
Best regards
Ang
