Apocalypse Now: U.S. Government Has Zombie Battle Plan

News this weekend revealed that the Pentagon has zombie plan. When the living dead walk the earth, the top brass at the Department of Defense now know what to do.

That’s…reassuring?

Supposedly, the DoD routinely writes up action plans for big events such as hurricanes or attacks, and this document–CONOP 8888–is just practice on how to write such plans. Evidently there are some political and strategic concerns with practicing on realistic scenarios that are nullified by using a “completely impossible scenario that could never be mistaken as a real plan.”

Or so they WANT us to believe.

At the very least, they did their research on zombie lore, coming up with strategies for different varieties of zombies and how they might act: from your evil magic zombies, to your high-exposure fast-moving zombies, to… vegetarian zombies. They covered their bases.

They know you’ve got to focus on removing the brain matter, and go the extra level and suggest burning a zombie corpse. (Make sure you do that only after the headshot, otherwise you’ll not only be under attack by a brain-eating monster, you’ll be attacked by a brain-eating monster that is also on fire. Dangerous stuff.)

You can read the Pentagon zombie plan here.

It looks like the Zombucks scenario is starting to come true (remember: the first set were dated 2017!). Get yours in silver and copper and build up your supply of precious metals while you wait.

Do you have your zombie plan ready for action? What is your first move when the day comes?
