In addition to sourcing precious metal bullion products from various reputable mints, Provident is proud to design, produce, and sell our own products as well. One of our hallmark products—the Provident Metals 10 oz Silver Bar—has recently been redesigned to deliver a sleeker, more attractive bar.
Like our previous design, each of the newly redesigned bars contains 10 troy ounces of .999 fine silver. The obverse of the bar features the Provident logo, along with an enlarged compass which is representative of our promise to point our customers in the right direction. Inscriptions of the bar’s weight and purity are included as well.
The bar’s reverse is decorated with a repeating, diagonal Provident logo. Each “O” in “Provident” is replaced with our iconic compass. Our previous 10 oz silver bar also featured a banner on the reverse with the Elemetal logo. That banner has been removed, as these bars are now produced by the Highland Mint. A small mint mark in the lower corner signifies this shift.
Where the old look of this bar had raised edges and devices, the new design has a flatter, more square structure that makes it easy to stack and store. Other notable changes include the bar’s new frosted devices (which give it a cameo look) and more efficient packaging. Each bar comes in a slim plastic sleeve that offers protection without detracting from stackability.
We’re very excited about our new partnership with Highland Mint, which is a new mint for our customers. The ISO-9001 certified full-service mint was established in the 1980’s in Melbourne, Florida. Their state-of-the-art 40,000 square foot facility offers minting services from start to finish, including design and sculpting, die making, processing metals, and more. The mint holds licenses with major baseball and football leagues and produces various medallions and other sports collectibles.
