Message from CEO Joe Merrick

By ProvidentMetals.com on April 10, 2017 Filed Under: News

As you may know, there have been recent negative articles written about alleged South American activities of three former employees of NTR Metals Miami, LLC, an indirect subsidiary of Elemetal, LLC.  Provident is partially owned by Elemetal.

In light of this media, I want to give you an update on Provident’s status. For over a year, Elemetal and Provident have been seeking a new business partner for Provident in its next chapter of growth.  In late 2016, I found a new partner and we are currently moving forward to effectuate an agreement.

As always, Provident looks forward to continuing to serve you well during this transition and the many exciting years to come.  And we wish Elemetal the very best.

Sincerely,
Joe Merrick
President and CEO

We will certainly keep your request in mind, but our inventory depends on the overall demand of our customers.

      Hi Donald,
Please forgive the inconvenience. There is a law that requires precious metals dealers that sell in Minnesota to take special legal action. Until recently, many online precious metals dealers were not aware of this law, but it is being enforced. We are working hard to solve this problem and will be sure to let our MN customers know when we’re back to normal.

          Hi Brad,
We are diligently working with our lawyers to open sales to Minnesota residents as soon as possible. As of now, we have filed all the necessary paperwork and are waiting for a response from the state. We hope for a speedy resolution. Thanks for your patience!

    Thank You for this update.

It’s sad to see Elemetal Mint silver bullion discontinued. They were very elegant and beautiful bars!

As a Canadian customer, I would appreciate if you work with your new partner to enable Canadians to place orders online instead of over the phone.

I wish Provident Metals a bright future ahead.

Do yo still sell copper, nickle, zinc, etc.?. And can you start selling fractional pieces of platinum and especially palladium, since it is not everyone who can afford to buy larger pieces of such expensive metals.

We do still offer copper and a variety of other exotic metals. We also offer fractional American Platinum Eagles and Credit Suisse Platinum Bars.

Thank you for letting us know. Provident has always had an excellent reputation.

Are you able to confirm that the metal backing the Elemetal Vault is not subject to any liens? I think that would be reassuring to hear.

Thanks for the question, but we are a load out option for Elemetal Vault and can’t speak on their behalf. Elemetal Vault customers are able to use their eVault account balance to make purchases through Provident Metals, but our inventory is independent from Elemetal Vault’s. If you would like to speak with an eVault account representative, their number is (844) 435-9879.
