How long does it take to process a PayPal order, For shipping ?
ProvidentMetals.com says
Normally, Paypal orders are shipped within 1 to 3 days. Do you have an order number you would like us to check on for you?
Cary Ward says
Do you have the 6 month no interest option for orders over $98 or 12 month no interest on orders over $500 that are offered through PayPal with PayPal Credit (formally Bill Me Later)? I have seen another company that offered PayPal as a payment method that had the 6 month option available buying from them using PayPal. Thanks.
ProvidentMetals.com says
We do not currently have this option, but will pass your suggestion up the ladder!
charles says
great to see these updates- free shipping would be a huge incentive as well.
ed sikes says
id still like to see you accept e-checks so we get our discount for direct from bank payments but dont have to send a paper check in
ProvidentMetals.com says
Hi Ed, the e-check option is available to customers that have an established account. Newer customers will not have the option available until the account is cleared. As soon as it is available, you’ll be able to see it in the check-out process.
ed sikes says
oh ok i look forward to being able to use that when it becomes available to me its nic not to have to pay premium just so i can use my credit card. mailing checks and money orders etc back and forth just isnt feasible anymore…
adam says
What does it take for an acct to become “established?” to be able to use the echeck feature? Why isnt this available from the start? More buyers would use this instead of paying high premiums for using credit cards.
ProvidentMetals.com says
That’s a great question, and we completely agree. Our system considers a number of variables including the age of the account and the number of completed orders prior to approving echeck for a user. The reason we have to do that is because we are often the target of fraudsters, and these measures are in place to protect everyone, including us. Thank you for your inquiry Adam, and for you business!

Have considered taking DWOLLA ???
ProvidentMetals.com says
We considered it a long time ago…..when we were looking for Paypal alternatives. Perhaps we should take another look?
John says
Great to see more options. If I could offer a suggestion it would be that PayPal payments made from a checking account should have some discount over those made from credit cards.
ProvidentMetals.com says
Hi John. The reason that there isn’t a discount for PayPal payments from a checking account is because regardless of what payment method you use through PayPal, business accounts are charged a fee.
Anthony says
I like to see more options plus I would also like to see free shipping
