Back in 2013, Provident Metals captured the heart of the zombie craze in pop culture with a collection of copper and silver rounds with zombified imagery. Billed as the fictitious currency of the zombie apocalypse, the Zombucks Series wowed investors and numismatists with 10 distinct designs on 1 oz copper rounds, 1 oz silver rounds, and 1 oz proof silver rounds. After a brief hiatus, a new series of zombie currency is being introduced, and this time the collection draws its inspiration from global currency. In the weeks ahead, you’ll be able to get the new rounds of the Zombucks World Series.
The Apocalypse Goes International
With the original release back in 2013, the Zombucks Series featured the popular, iconic American coin designs that managed to scrape by during the zombie apocalypse. There were a total of 10 designs released, from the Zombucks Walker and the Zombuff to Starving Liberty, the Slayed Dollar, and the Victorious Saint. With the upcoming release of the Zombucks World Series, you’ll see a brand-new collection of 10 designs. This time, the inspiration for the designs comes from 10 modern bullion collections that investors and numismatists buy around the world on a daily basis.
In the new Zombucks World Series, you’ll find 1 oz silver and 1 oz copper rounds available to build out your zombie collection. At this point in time, we’re not announcing the designs to feature in this series, not even the debut issue. However, if you follow us on social media and keep tabs on the silver and copper listings, you’ll find out the debut design as soon as it is available for purchase.
The Best Way to Collect Them All
While Provident Metals will release a total of 10 individual designs on silver rounds and copper rounds, the best option available for storing all of the rounds is the Zombucks Series 20-Piece Collector’s Box. While the box does not come with all 10 rounds, it does come with capsules and will be able to hold all 20 rounds as the series progresses. You’ll be able to house each of the 10 designs in silver and copper.
