While the Black Horse of Famine rounds are currently available, the NGC graded and slabbed Red Horse of War rounds have finally arrived. We experienced a slight delay in our efforts to bring you a product of the highest quality. But the wait is over!
The Red Horse of War is the second release in the Provident original series of Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse rounds. The BU silver and copper round sales have ended, and now this design is only available in graded form. And you won’t want to miss this action-packed design.
The obverse features the horsemen charging forward with an outstretched sword, ready for battle. It is said that he has the ability to “take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other.” His horse’s famed red color is meant to symbolize the blood spilt during war. You’ll also notice a unique privy mark in the shape of crossed swords.
The round’s reverse features four horses reared up behind a shield that bears the privy marks of each of the horsemen. This is a shared design on the reverse of each round in the Four Horsemen series.
These NGC graded and slabbed rounds will come in both a proof and antiqued finish, with grades of GEM BU, 69, and 70. Each one comes individually numbered in a sonically sealed plastic holder to preserve the round’s condition. A custom label designed specifically for this series is placed on each holder. Quantities of graded rounds are limited, so don’t wait to get yours!
