St. Patrick’s Day is a national holiday in the Republic of Ireland and is the world’s most celebrated national festival around the world. While it is ostensibly a celebration of the impact St. Patrick had on Ireland, the festival has grown broader in the 19th and 20th centuries to celebrate Irish culture at large. Provident Metals is proud to offer you a way to combine your love of silver with the desire to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day as the world emerges from the darkness of a global pandemic.

Festive St. Patrick’s Day Card
The first thing that stands out about the 2022 American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin Happy St. Patrick’s Day Card is the rich green color. Both sides of the card have green fields, with HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY is printed at the top of the front side of the card. This is set against a golden background plaque with Leprechaun hate and three-leaf clovers adorning the design. The back of the card comes with details for the coin that includes 1 OZ AMERICAN SILVER EAGLE and .999 FINE SILVER.
2022 American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin
Included within each Happy St. Patrick’s Day Card, there is an American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin. These 2022-dated BU specimens are sealed inside the clamshell card and offer the designs that celebrate the start of a new generation for the American Eagle. In mid-2021, the US Mint shifted away from John Mercanti’s reverse design for the series to introduce the new American bald eagle design from Emily Damstra. 2022 is the first full year of production for this design.
On the obverse of the American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin, you will find the left-profile portrait of Walking Liberty. This design shows Liberty striding toward the sun on the horizon with the American flag draped around her figure, her right hand extended, and her left carrying branches of oak and laurel. The inscriptions read LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, 2022, and the AW signature mark of designer Adolph A. Weinman. The reverse side features Emily Damstra’s new depiction of the American bald eagle soaring through the air. The eagle swoops down in this design with an oak branch in its talons. The inscriptions include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, 1 OZ. FINE SILVER, and ONE DOLLAR.
